We're in a test period, so we aren't taking payments yet. Once payments open, you'll sign up and cancel on this page. During the test period, translation doesn't stop when you pass the limit.

Also from this limit: text in images (usually about 9 per image) and translation on images (usually about 19, precise about 40)

How translations are counted

Plan limits are counted in translations. One message translated into one language is 1 translation; work that takes more processing, like images, counts what it takes.

Text
1 per messageLong messages count 1 more for every 200 characters of Korean, Chinese or Japanese, or every 500 characters in other languages. Messages with nothing to translate aren't counted.
Right-click translation
1 per messageThe same as text. Viewing the original or another language isn't counted.
Text in images
Usually about 9 per imageCounted by the work of reading and translating the image. Images without text aren't counted, and up to 4 images per message are read.
Translation on images
Usually about 19 per imageCounted by the work it takes, so images with more text use more; one spot of text starts at 10. Over 16 blocks of text, you see the cost first and it goes ahead once you confirm (up to 128 blocks). Changing the font isn't counted.
Precise translation on images
Usually about 40 per imageOn paid plans, you can choose it for any image. Every letter is checked a second time for better accuracy.
Voice messages Coming soon
1 per second of audioTranscribing and translating voice messages sent from the phone app is being prepared. When it opens, the translation of what was said is added, and a message with no speech isn't counted.
Daily cap
200 imagesCounted per person and the same on every plan, so that bulk automated use can't stop translations for everyone else.
Who pays
Translations opened from the image icons or by right-click count against the person who pressed, not the person who posted.

Frequently asked questions

When do payments open?

We're in a test period, so we aren't taking payments and everyone is on the Guest (free) plan. Payments open once business registration and the payment provider are set up, and we'll announce the date in the support server news and on this page. Korea pays in won, everywhere else in US dollars.

How do I cancel?

Once payments open, you cancel on the plans page of this website, the same place you subscribe. Cancelling stops the next payment, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. The plan management screen in the bot's settings panel also brings you here.

How do refunds work?

You can get a full refund of your first payment within 7 days. We also refund for service outages or when the service differs from what this page says. The rest is in the Refund policy.

Are images stored?

The bot doesn't store them. Images go to Anthropic to read the text, and only the result is shown to you. Nothing is sent until you press the button. The text read isn't stored either; only the translation follows the translation cache rule (30 days). So that a font change redraws right away, an image you press Put on image for stays in memory for 15 minutes, along with the text read and its translation.

Who makes the translations?

AI does (Claude by Anthropic). The same AI reads text in images. Translations can be wrong, so check the original for anything important. Images with translations drawn on them say AI translation in their description (alt text) and in the note under the result.
